Kerry teaches arts and crafts both on a 1-1 basis and through short courses. Subjects such as sewing, dressmaking, embroidery, patchwork, dressmaking, felting, textiles with a highly qualified tutor. Classes are primarily based at our large workshop on Morecambe promenade’s front overlooking the sea.
Kerry has been stitching in one form or another since she was 4, and has numerous textile qualifications as well as a degree in Glass, architectural glass and ceramics before going on to study the art of teaching, gaining her qualification 8 years ago.
Since qualifying Kerry has been working for local education authorities throughout the country teaching adult education. Since gaining 4 grade 1 (outstanding) in a row she has decided to set up on her own ( Cotton on born 2015) teaching with a lot less paperwork required from those seeking to learn skills thus giving more project time and 1-1 contact time in sessions as groups are kept deliberately small.
If you have any ideas for courses please do get in touch as I have a wide knowledge base from which to teach.
